The CITE / Alfred Certificate of Advanced Study in Mental Health Counseling
allows those with a School Counseling Certification to earn NY State Licensure,
which enables you to work outside of the school.
As a licensed counselor, you would be able to work in a hospital,
an agency, or your own practice, and you’d be able to bill insurance.
- 18 credit program
- 1/3 the cost of other weekend programs: $1245 for 3 credits.
- Your complete Advanced Certificate in MHC costs only $7,470
- Allows NYC School Counselors and School Psychologists to earn NYS Mental Health Licensure
- Licensure allows you to work in clinical settings.
